Resigum: Rosin Esters For adhesives, tapes, cosmetics, sealants and labels
The "Resigum" line of ester gums are obtained through the esterification of the
acids from natural and hydrogenated rosins with polyalcohols, resulting in a high resistance
to oxidation, excellent color and solubility with organic solvents and in different rubber polymers. Because of their low acidity,
resigums are great for coating applications, especially varnishes. They are highly recommended for their thermoplastic characteristics
and good tackification in hot-melt and pressure-sensitive adhesives. They are also used in depilation waxes. | |
